The Puma belongs to the Felidae family and lives in North and South America. Its color is uniform and varies from reddish brown in the tropics, to yellowish gray in the arid regions. He has a posterior higher than his head which allows him to jump easily. The Puma is characterized by a long tail, darker at its end, and measuring up to 32 inches! It is a carnivorous and solitary animal that moves in silence to better capture its prey. He competes with the jaguar that roams the same terrain and often leaves him prey of medium size.
